You can exclude contacts from being routed to your AI Receptionist or receiving AI replies to their text messages - whether you want to personally handle important conversations with key clients or collaborators, or allow personal contacts to reach you directly.

If there are contacts you don't want the AI to respond to, you can customize those settings individually:

1. Open the conversation with that contact in the M1 app

2. Tap the Receptionist icon next to the message composer

- Answers calls
- Replies to texts

Your AI Receptionist will remain active for everyone else - this just creates an exception for that contact.
