Once you've added business details and knowledge to your AI Receptionist, it's important to test how it responds. M1 provides a Demo feature for both calls and texts so you can see your Receptionist in action.
➡️ Access your Receptionist settings:
Open the M1 app on your phone.
Go to the Settings tab.
In the Phone section, tap AI Receptionist.
I. Test your AI Call Receptionist
From the AI Receptionist settings, tap 📞 Demo at the top of the screen.
Tap Call and pretend to be a client or lead.
Ask questions to test how your Receptionist responds.
Adjust knowledge settings as needed for better accuracy.
II. Test your AI Text Receptionist
From the AI Receptionist settings, tap 💬 Demo at the top of the screen.
This will open a new chat in your native messaging app.
A pre-filled message will appear: “Hello, what’s the name of your business?”
You can edit this message or send multiple texts to your M1 number to test your Receptionist.
Ask as many questions as you like to see how your Receptionist responds.
Adjust knowledge settings as needed for better accuracy.
