Common issues and how to fix them

If you're missing calls, not hearing your phone ring, or noticing delays, the issue usually falls into one of the categories below:

1️⃣ Your phone isn’t ringing

🔕 Business Hours

If Business Hours are on, M1 won't ring outside of your selected schedule and your AI Receptionist will take over instead.

👉 To check your configuration:

  • Open the M1 app

  • Go to Settings → Notifications→ Business hours

🚫 Device Settings

Make sure the following settings on your iPhone are not interfering with calls:

  • Silence Unknown Callers: Turned off

  • Focus / Do Not Disturb mode: Turned off

🛜 Internet Connection

M1 relies on a strong and stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection for calls. Check your internet connection and:

  • Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data

  • Use the "Test Your Network" feature in the M1 app for a quick diagnosis

2️⃣ Calls aren't being forwarded to the M1 app

This usually means call forwarding wasn't properly set up.

👉 To check your configuration:

  1. Open the M1 app.

  2. Go to the Settings tab.

  3. Scroll to the M1 Number section.

  4. Tap Call Forwarding.

  5. Tap "Setup Call Forwarding" and follow the instructions.
