If you’re experiencing poor call quality, M1 offers two practical tools to help you assess your connection. These tools let you quickly test your Wi-Fi or cellular network to ensure that you have a stable connection for your calls. If you find that your network isn’t up to par, switching to a different network can often resolve the issues.

1️⃣ During a Call: Troubleshooting view.

If you’re on a call and suspect network issues, M1 provides a tool to switch from Wi-Fi to your cellular network on the fly.

Here's how to access it:

  • While on a call, tap the 🛜 icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  • Choose “Call with Cellular network.”

  • If needed, tap “Hang up & call with cellular.”

The system will redial your call using your cellular network, and your call will continue to be recorded.

You can quickly check your current network strength by using the built-in test in the M1 app:

  • Open the M1 app

  • Scroll down to the Phone section and tap Test Your Network (or tap the following link from your device: m1://settings/network_test)

  • Then tap Begin Test.

This test evaluates whether your Wi-Fi or cellular connection is strong enough for high-quality calls.
