If you’re experiencing poor call quality, M1 offers two practical tools to help you assess your connection. These tools let you quickly test your Wi-Fi or cellular network to ensure that you have a stable connection for your calls. If you find that your network isn’t up to par, switching to a different network can often resolve the issues.
1️⃣ During a Call: Troubleshooting view.
If you’re on a call and suspect network issues, M1 provides a tool to switch from Wi-Fi to your cellular network on the fly.
Here's how to access it:
While on a call, tap the 🛜 icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Choose “Call with Cellular network.”
If needed, tap “Hang up & call with cellular.”
The system will redial your call using your cellular network, and your call will continue to be recorded.
2️⃣ From the app's Settings: Test Your Network feature.
You can quickly check your current network strength by using the built-in test in the M1 app:
Open the M1 app
Scroll down to the Phone section and tap Test Your Network (or tap the following link from your device: m1://settings/network_test)
Then tap Begin Test.
This test evaluates whether your Wi-Fi or cellular connection is strong enough for high-quality calls.
👉 If the results show poor quality, try switching networks to improve your connection.
