Following user feedback, M1 now includes a Recording Consent feature. When enabled, callers will hear an automated message at the start of a call, letting them know that the conversation is being recorded.

This helps you stay transparent and aligned with call recording laws in many regions.

How to enable Recording Consent

  1. Open the M1 app

  2. Go to the Settings tab

  3. Scroll down to the Phone section

  4. Tap Recording Consent

  5. Toggle the setting ON

Once enabled, M1 will automatically play a message at the start of every inbound call (calls you receive):

β€œThis call is recorded. To opt out, please ask the other party to stop recording.”

How to turn off Call Recording?

If the caller asks not to be recorded, you can stop recording mid-call by tapping the Recorder button on your call screen. ⬇️
