Whether you want to use M1 for calls and messaging or just to capture meeting notes on your computer, there are two ways to use M1 on macOS. Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s available:

1️⃣ M1 - AI Phone Assistant (for Mac)
You can download the M1 - AI Phone Assistant (for Mac) from the Mac App Store if your Mac has an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, or M3). It mirrors the iOS app experience, so you can call, text, view transcriptions, summaries, and more, right from your Mac.
Note: The M1 - AI Phone Assistant (for Mac) is only available on the Mac App Store in the US and Canada.

MacBook Pro — Introduced in 2021 or later; 13-inch MacBook Pro (M1, 2020)
MacBook Air — Introduced in 2022 or later; MacBook Air (M1, 2020)

Note: If your Mac uses an Intel chip, the M1 app will not be available for download on the App Store.

M1 - Meeting Recorder is a separate tool designed to automatically capture and summarize meetings across popular platforms like Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, and FaceTime.
Only available to users who link their calendar in the M1 iOS app
You’ll receive a link to download the app
This app runs quietly in the background and works across apps
❌ What about Windows or other PCs?
M1 is not currently available on Windows or other PC operating systems.
📆 How does M1 - Meeting Recorder know which meetings to record on my computer?
This version of M1, used to capture and summarize Zoom, Slack, and FaceTime calls on Mac, supports full sync with Google Calendar only.
That means the app can:
Read your Google Calendar events
Notify you before scheduled events
Send notes after a meeting ends
🔒 Note: iCal is not currently supported yet.
