โœ… What it does

When someone calls and asks to schedule a call or meeting, your Receptionist can:

  • Ask the caller for their preferred time, email, and reason for the meeting

  • Check your connected calendar for availability

  • Automatically book the meeting or propose another time

  • Add the booking to:

    • Your Google or Outlook calendar

    • The call summary and conversation in your M1 Inbox

๐Ÿ”— How to activate it

Right now, M1 supports Google Calendar and Outlook. To activate the feature:

  1. Open the M1 app and go to

Settings โ†’ Voicemail Receptionist โ†’ Calendar Scheduling

  2. Tap Connect, select your provider, and complete the secure sign-in flow

  3. Set your:

    • Preferred hours for scheduling

    • Destination calendar (where new bookings will go)

๐Ÿง  How it works in practice

If your Receptionist handles a call that includes a scheduling request, it will:

  1. Ask the caller for the purpose of the meeting, their email, and a preferred time

  2. Check your availability using your selected calendar and hours

  3. Book the meeting (or suggest another time if needed)

  4. Add it to your calendar and M1 Inbox thread

๐Ÿ‘‰ You can cancel any booking at any time from the conversation view, and the caller will be automatically notified.

โš ๏ธ Things to know

  • This only works for calls handled by the Voicemail Receptionist, not live user-to-user calls

  • iCal is not supported - youโ€™ll need a Google or Outlook account

  • You can disconnect your calendar anytime from the same settings menu

  • Bookings will only happen during your preferred hours
